    "I started working with Cory at Phase II last winter. Almost 9 months later, I have lost 33 pounds and over 20 total inches! I’m now within my final personal weight loss goals. Cory and his staff are very supportive. They help decipher what the aches and pains are from and they tailor the workout to my level. When I started, I struggled to get through a normal pace walk on the treadmill, now I run half of it!     "I am a 34-year-old mother of four children. I have been struggling with my weight since my freshman year in college. After my third child and many years of dieting, I realized I needed to exercise more but did not have the time to do it nor did I know exactly what to do to target weight loss more efficiently. I would either walk on the treadmill or pop in a videotape. I always thought weight training would make me gain weight instead of losing it until I called Phase II. This turned out to be the best decision I have made in weight loss and exercise. I started weight training in May of 2005. I went three times a week and noticed a big change within 2 to 3 weeks. Everyone noticed after a month. I was so excited about the transformation until I discovered that I was pregnant 2 months into my training.

    I always gained more than 50 pounds with each child and the struggle to take it all off was long I was so upset that this would put a hold on my training. I spoke with Cory and he assured me that I could continue to weight train. I trained until I was around 6 months pregnant. This helped me keep my weight gain down to 36 pounds and my delivery was only 3 hours long as opposed to 17 hours with the other 3 children. Now I am 5 months into my training again and I have lost 40 pounds and 42 inches. I am in better shape than I was in high school. My husband, mom and brother were so impressed with the results that they all joined too. I have more energy for my children and a better mentality for whatever life decides to throw at me. I cannot thank Cory at Phase II enough for giving back a healthy life!!!"

    "I can’t thank Phase II enough for the goals they’ve helped me accomplish over several years. My trainer Cory has pushed me hard when I needed it. I belonged to different gyms in the past, and even signed up for some personal training sessions at those places. But the level of certification, expertise, and experience I found in the Phase II trainers blows all the others away. Phase II not only helped me achieve my fitness goals, but the efficiency of the workouts let me complete my time in the gym in half the time I used to spend lifting weights, giving me back some time in the day.

    Dear Cory,
    I want to thank you and Phase II for the great job you did training my son, Harry. When we came to you, Harry was in 7th grade and had just been cut from his middle school football team. Harry had been cut from the team because his fitness level was very down on himself.

    We came to you and you helped to develop a plan to rebuild Harry’s self-esteem and increase his physical fitness.

    You worked with Harry throughout the spring and created a very intense program to train him for the summer. During this time, I could see Harry’s body transforming to a more physically fit one and more importantly I could see Harry’s self-esteem growing by leaps and bounds.

    Harry was enjoying his workouts and he considered both you and Melissa as his friends.

    When the time came to try out for the football team, Harry was ready and he made the team. He had a great season of football and got straight A’s on his report card. I was extremely pleased and proud of him.

    I thank you for creating a program that got Harry ready for football and also for being Harry’s friend. His time with you developed more than his physical fitness, I believe that you also helped to raise his self-esteem and instilled in him the knowledge and pleasure of fitness training.

    "Phase II is an exceptional gym and training facility.  The individual attention   and direction you receive from the personal trainers helps you identify, reach   and maintain your athletic goals.  For the past 8 years I have been working out with a personal trainer and the experience has been very fulfilling.  I have continued  to be committed to working out because of the motivation and guidance I have received from a personal trainer.  Prior to joining Phase II, I    had been a member  of numerous health clubs, but I never had the discipline or knowledge to become more fit.  When I joined Phase II, I was in poor physical shape and my health  was at the best average.  Today I am healthier than I   ever been in my life and I feel better than I ever imagined.  An added bonus for me was I met my husband at Phase II and we both have the same philosophy about working out.  I can honestly say, my life became fuller and happier  because I joined Phase II.

    "Cory Perlman designed a personal fitness program that allows me to be fully engaged in weight training, despite having a compressed lumbar disc. Initially, I was very skeptical that I could do any weight training but Cory assured me it was possible, using the right weights and the right exercises. I have now been working with Cory for over a year and am more than pleased with the results. Today, I look forward to my twice weekly workouts and am planning a more aggressive program."

    "I had long considered personal training a luxury that I simply could not afford but after many years of on-again, off-again weight training with minimal results. I decided to give it a try. It has been worth every penny! My sessions are focused and I am never bored since my trainer varies the activities with each session.
